Upon their arrival in Phnom Penh, the Bak Nim villagers promptly made their way to the illustrious Royal Palace, a revered landmark of the city. Greeted warmly by the DC-Cam staff, they were graciously welcomed to the vibrant capital. Guided by the staff, the villagers were directed towards the entrance of the Royal Palace, where they were introduced to an experienced palace guide. Accompanied by the guide, they embarked on a captivating journey through the palace grounds, immersing themselves in its rich historical tapestry. Bathed in the radiant sunlight, the villagers found profound delight in the grandeur of the magnificent temples and the majestic presence of towering trees. Above all, their visit offered a valuable opportunity to deepen their knowledge of their country’s history, interwoven with the significance of the palace. Furthermore, the knowledgeable guide provided insightful explanations regarding the distinctive architecture of the temple roofs, ingeniously shaped in the form of dragons, symbolizing the indomitable spirit and revered heritage of Cambodia.
