Heng Ma, aged 43, currently works as a farmer in Bak Nim village. Born in 1980, she did not personally endure the Khmer Rouge regime. However, her family faced significant financial difficulties, preventing her from completing her studies, as she had to contribute to alleviating the family’s burden through farming. Heng Ma reveals that her family tragically lost four relatives during the regime.
