Mom Nav, aged 63, is presently a farmer. During the Khmer Rouge regime, her assigned duty was to lift heavy dirt for the construction of Koh Sla Dams, a task she performed for the entire duration. She witnessed the horrific killings of civilians, but fortunately, none of her family members were lost. She endured chronic food scarcity and excessive work hours, from 7 AM until 11 PM, with only a lunch break. Her educational attainment was limited, having completed only grade 3.
