Sem Kunthea, female, 51 years old and is a farmer. During the Khmer Rouge, she was taken away from her family to join the children’s unit. She was able to learn a bit but most of the time, Angkar assigned her to carry cow dung to make fertilizer, she did not get to meet her mother until later. Her mother was a digger, she dug for lands and canals.
