My name is Khan Vannak, a male tenth-grade student currently studying at Chouk district. During my leisure time, I engage in cashew picking and assist my family in farming. My belief in the benefits of DC-Cam volunteer work has led me to pursue interviewing villagers, gaining valuable insight into the Khmer Rouge history, and improving my communication skills. Nevertheless, this work is challenging as not all villagers are receptive, and some expect gifts after the interview, causing me anxiety. Despite this, I am pleased to aid in providing health screening and support for the villagers’ medical needs and other expenses. To date, I have conducted ten interviews.
