Nuch Much

Nuch Much, aged 82, currently resides at home. During the Khmer Rouge regime, she was deprived of the opportunity to pursue education and was subjected to near-death experiences orchestrated by the Khmer Rouge. However, due to her young age, she was spared. Assigned to the children’s unit, her duties involved manual labor such as lifting dirt and participating in dam construction. Tragically, she lost two of her relatives during that time. Working over 10 hours a day, from 5 AM to 5 PM, with a meager one-hour lunch break, the provided food was insufficient. Despite her advanced age and occasional memory lapses, she resides with her child and assumes the responsibility of caring for her grandchildren.
