Ouch Un, aged 68, is currently engaged in farming. She was born into a financially disadvantaged family and did not have the opportunity to receive an education. During the Khmer Rouge regime, she was assigned the laborious task of lifting dirt to construct Mlech Dam and Trapaeng Toeung Dam. Her workday began at 5 AM and lasted until 5 PM, with only one hour of rest. Additionally, while in the women’s unit, she was responsible for teaching children. Following the regime’s end, she returned to her hometown.
