Wat Langka

After the completion of their check-up, the villagers proceeded to Wat Langka, a renowned and esteemed pagoda in Phnom Penh, to pay homage to the late King Norodom Sihanouk and appreciate the architectural splendor of each pagoda. Mr. Youk Chhang, the director of the Documentation Center of Cambodia, accompanied the villagers, providing guidance and fostering a hospitable atmosphere. The villagers embarked on a tour to admire each pagoda, offering prayers to the Buddha statue and paying their respects. Overwhelmed by the grandeur of the vast pagodas, the villagers captured numerous photographs to commemorate their visit. They also paid a visit to the urns housing the remains of the late Khmer Rouge victims within the pagoda, evoking deep emotions as they reflected upon the dark period of the Khmer Rouge regime. As the visit drew to a close, a group photograph was taken in front of the magnificent pagoda, symbolizing the shared experiences.
